200 AI Personas Predicted Our Product Launch — Then We Checked Reality
MiroFish creates a digital society of AI agents to simulate how markets react
The Problem
Market research costs $15,000+ and takes 6 weeks. MiroFish creates hundreds of AI agents with unique personalities that discuss your product on simulated Twitter and Reddit, form opinions, and produce emergent predictions. The creator vibe-coded it in 10 days and got $4.1M in funding within 24 hours of a rough demo.
Our Setup
We ran MiroFish (deployed on our Hetzner server) with 200 personas representing US tech professionals aged 25-45. Prediction question: Would a managed AI workspace service ($149/month) succeed? We compared the prediction against real market research data.
What We Expected
Directionally accurate predictions — right concerns (privacy, complexity, pricing) even if numbers are off. Main risk: LLM agents may be too positive (sycophancy bias) and overestimate demand.
